SCPT meets with many different organizations and institutions. By affiliating with the SCPT Annual Conference, International Gatherings, or Global Virtual Meetings, these groups agree to participate in an open academic discussion guided by a common standard of scholarly discourse that engages their subject through critical inquiry and investigation.
According to the SCPT Constitution, it shall be within the jurisdiction of the Board of Directors to affiliate with organizations whose aims are deemed consonant with the Society. Affiliates benefit from SCPT-negotiated arrangements involving meeting space, institutional partnerships, and collaborative opportunities. For this principal reason, when an organization affiliates with SCPT in order to benefit from such arrangements, the Affiliate Organization must agree to the Affiliate Organization Agreement. Submission of an application for affiliation implies agreement to these stipulations.
